Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse

2005 ground-breaking of the Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse, built solely with funds generated within the DRFC alumni  & friends community, with 3 fields dedicate to rugby. 

Located less than a mile north of the Dartmouth College campus, the 6,000-square foot Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse nestles into a slope of the former Garipay Farm property (now owned by Dartmouth). The clubhouse is destined to be one of Dartmouth’s distinctive buildings. It may be the only rugby clubhouse in the world designed to provide symmetrical, unified facilities that serve men and women.

The men and womens rugby programs at Dartmouth, rank with the best teams in the nation. Each has won Ivy League and New England championships and competed in national tournaments. The Corey Ford Clubhouse gives Dartmouth rugby players a place they call “home,” a facility that is unmatched in the spectrum of collegiate athletics. Click here for directions

The Big Green utilize a state-of-the-art varsity weight room in the recently completed Floren Varsity House. This versatile new building was made possible by a $10 million leadership gift from Olivia and Doug Floren '63 of Greenwich, Conn. and their family. The new 10,000-square foot strength center in the Floren Varsity House will allow students to undergo effective strength, power, plyometric, agility, flexibility and conditioning programs under the supervision of head strength coach Bob Miller. New equipment in the strength center will benefit all 34 of Dartmouth's varsity programs. Equipment in the Floren Varsity House weight room includes: 20 platforms & racks, 3 belt squat machines    
3 sets of iron dumbbells, 4 cable lat pulldowns, 4 Russian boxes, assorted hammer machines, 8 glute and hamstring machines, 12 cardio machines, and 6 adjustable cable columns.
